Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born performer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox attended an institution called the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and flute for three full years. Lennox made it through on a student allowance and part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when compared to her fellow students. Then she began to consider alternative options. Lennox was first introduced to the world of music in the year 1976, as a singer in the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared at the time of I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. She met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began working on her solo debut album Diva in the year 1992. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially.
